My First TTT – My Favourite Asian Bloggers

As I will never shut up about, I’m Asian. You guys are all-stars from repeatedly reading this sentence. Specifically, I’m Southeast Asian (Malaysian Chinese). I’ve wanted to do Top Ten Tuesday for ages (because, hype) and when I saw this prompt, I thought this post was not only a good way to spread the love for the book blogosphere, but also to make it the second article in my Asian blog series, I guess, where I talk about my favourite Asian members of the book community. No shade to people of other minorities and groups, but I just wanted to take a moment (meaning, a post) to commemorate Asian bloggers.

And being on brand as usual, I’m late with posting this. I literally had so much going on that my blog was being pushed to the backburner … is that a bad thing? So without further ado, here are some of my favorite Asian bloggers.

The Bloggers

May @ Forever and Everly

May is overall such a wonderful, fun blogger with a really clean blog that appeals to me so much. She is just a lovely cinnamon roll and we’re both Southeast Asian? Like yes?

Twirling Pages

Honestly, what is not to love about this blog? There are so many great co-bloggers, who I believe are mostly Asian so bonus! This site has my dream aesthetics, with such a soothing, calm aura and the content? A+.

Litcelebrasian

I’m so here for this name, not gonna lie. This site is run by 10 active Asian members of the community. It’s just such a wonderful resource for Asian literature and I found so many great resources there. Seriously, use it. It’s just so important, and I’m grateful to have access to this kind of resource.

Rachana @ Rachanah Blog

Rashana is just such a wonderful, sweet human being overall, and I adore the way she places images together. I also love her style of writing and her reviews. And she’s also a published writer and a poet … and is only 18?? Life goals right there.

Fadwa @ Word Woonders

I just love Fadwa’s posts overall! Her #diversebookbloggersdiscuss series is not only so important but also so so enjoyable and interesting to discuss. Do check out her book blogger organization post. The Type A part of me has never felt so soothed and satisfied.

Melanie @ meltotheany

Melanie is such a sweetheart of a human being and I love her so much. Her posts not only manage to be ridiculously eloquent but also so so engaging. I just love reading her reviews, both on her blog and her Goodreads, so give her a follow for sure! (Follow everyone here too because they’re all amazing).

Julianna @ Paper Blots

Ju is a Chinese teen (!!) who is so funny, has beautiful aesthetics and always can be counted on to post fun, interactive posts. Plus, her blog has my favorite color scheme ever. My eyeballs are in love.

Aimee @ Aimee, Always

Aimee has such an aesthetic, organized blog and spoiler, I love it a lot! Her posts are not only extremely helpful, they’re incredibly informative and enjoyable. I love the variety of posts that she puts out is great, and yes for Southeast Asian rep!

Aentee @ Read at Midnight

On top of being a wonderful blog, Aentee is a beyond talented artist and part of the team (I believe) at litcelebrasian, which was mentioned earlier in this post. Her book graphics are absolutely gorgeous and so detailed and are wonderful companions to her reviews. I could go on all day about Aentee’s blog, but we all don’t have time for that, so …

Sim @ Flipping Thru The Pages

Last but not least, Sim! Her posts are always incredibly engaging, and her Blogging 101 series is definitely a series you shouldn’t miss out on. Sim can always be counted on to make creative, engaging contents (in particular, her discussions are always so great and thought-provoking). And not gonna lie, an Agatha Christie section doesn’t hurt either 😉

Ok that’s it for today! I know I’ve been absolutely horrible at posting, but I’m going to try to take it a step at a time, I guess. Who’re your favorite bloggers, Asian or not? Do you follow any of these wonderful ladies? Let me know down below.

    1. I had no idea you were Filipina-Chinese, but knowing that now makes me so happy! All of these ladies are so amazing and I love them their content and you so much. Honestly, I’m living for all the Asian-centric posts coming out and I hope more of this goes around ♥
