I Have A New BuJo, and Here’s the Setup // Migrating BuJos + A Quick Post

So the time has come – my old bullet journal has finally ran out of pages, and in comes the new journal!

This one is going to be a short one because I honestly don’t have that many spreads, and I generally don’t have ~too~ much to say on these spreads!

I really hope you like these spreads and credits to the amazing Amanda @ Amanda Rach Lee, always ❤

The Ins and Outs of My Rating System aka Me Making Everything Unnecessarily Complicated and Intricate

The intricacies of rating books is a very complicated, strange system.

And mine, especially knowing me, is, um, no different.

Since I’ve wanted to write a discussion/chatty post for a while now (and I couldn’t really because school has been eating all my time) and so I decided to talk about how I rate books and my rating system as a whole!

I was inspired by my lovely friends, May @ Forever and Everly and Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books who wrote similar posts, so please check their posts out because they are brilliant and amazing and deserve all the love! (If you’re in the book blogosphere, you probably already know them, but please check them out anyway!

A Far Smaller Amount of Books Than Normal // Recent Reads #7

Hi.

It’s me.

(And the mid of October).

I’m here to report that as of the time I published this post, I have finished four books, two of which were, uh, for English short stories.

I’m participating in Spookathon right now so hopefully I can get this number up? Hopefully.

And I have things to say about them.

So let’s talk about the books, shall we?

Note: I’m going to just be doing a bullet-point list for each short story, because we don’t have time, and also because it’s a short story. So.

It’s going to be a fun month because October is ya girl’s birthday! (I’m typing this the day before my birthday) and I’m just hoping it’s going to be a great day, okay.

September ’19 Wrap Up // The One Where I Am Dying From School, Read A Bunch, And I Am (Extremely) Excited For October!!

September has come and gone, and with that, we have only 3 months in 2019.

HOW. I am actually in shock.

Even though I have traditionally always loved Septembers, this one was an alright one, and I am far, far more excited for October. And not for the reasons you think.

I’m sorry this is coming like 2-3 hours later than my regular posting time, but at least it’s here? I’m going to try and be more on time with my posts and do lots of scheduling.

Basically A Marie Lu Appreciation Post, (More) Short Stories/Novellas, My Contemporary-a-thon Wrap Up + Me Oversharing, Again // Recent Reads #6

I’m back with all my thoughts and opinions of books that I’ve recently read!

The second half of the month was a WILD ride (in terms of reading) because I really tried to get ahead of my goal to read 150 books, because hello, I just like overachieving I guess!

And grab a snack or a drink or whatever, because there is a lot of books in this post today.

More specifically, nine books.

I am deeply, deeply sorry.

And I mean it.
