Welcome to the very last wrap up post for 2019!
Which is, annoyingly so, more than a month late, and even missed my regular uploading time!
This is, uh, going up at midnight, and it’s not a good look.
Today, I’m answering a good amount of the questions from the End of Year Bookish Survey! This is my second time doing this survey (having done this survey in 2018) and had lots of fun, so I figured this would be a good way to properly say goodbye to my 2019 reading year. I wrote a quick little summary in my 2019 recap post, so if you wanna see a quick overview of my reading year, it’s there for you.
Also, I’m so sorry I disappeared from the blog (again). It’s just that life got busy, I got distracted by life things in general, and yeah. Life just really be like that sometimes
This post took FOREVER to create and finish (like hours upon hours), so I’m gonna just end this here and take a huge nap because BOY do I need it.

2019 was a … wild year. And I genuinely have lots of feelings and thoughts about it.
I’m so behind on making all these 2019 wrap up / beginning of 2020 posts, but here’s the next one in this whole series! Today, I’m going to talk about my 2019 in terms of reading, blogging and life, and properly saying goodbye to 2019 in those regards, pretty much? Feeling all of those bittersweet feelings right now, honestly.

New Year, New Decade … and Lots of New Goals!!
I mean, I’m just THAT person.
I’m a huge completion-ist, and I’ve always loved setting goals and creating task lists and just ticking them off, even though I can be sometimes, you know … not great with actually following through with them.
But regardless! Today’s post is going to be me checking in with my 2019 goals (which honestly, I forgot a lot of them) and talking about my 2020 goals. 2020 is going to be a year of a lot of changes and things happening for me, which is overwhelmingly scary but I’m also interested to see where the year goes.
I’m going to talk about each section in a little more detail (especially in the 2020 section), so let’s just get into the post already because this post is probably going to be nearly 3k words long, yikes!!

Happy New Year and New Decade!!
Since 2019 has come to a close, it’s time to wrap up my year.
Let’s ignore the fact that this post is coming 5 days late.
I ended up taking a little unplanned break this month: I had full intentions to come back to blogging and draft all the year-end blog posts, but life really got me this month. I was just really busy and when I had time, I simply didn’t have the energy or the motivation to blog.
I think I’ve been in a little bit of a blogging slump in the last quarter of the year, and I didn’t really notice or acknowledge it? I’m kind of questioning a bunch of things and trying to ease back into it, but I do miss the interaction of it all and I do love blogging, I just need to re-spark that flame again.
Okay, enough about me – I’ll talk more about this in my December Wrap Up, but yeah!! On to my favourite books of the year.

This is my first post of 2019 and I’m in disbelief.
Also, a belated New Year to every single one of you! I hope 2019 is a year that will serve you well. I know you’re gonna kill it.
I don’t know about you, but I like making A LOT of New Year’s Resolutions, focus on them until February, and forget them until December.
Why I do this to myself, I have no idea.
So as you can probably tell from the title, today’s blog post will be about me reviewing (and reacting) to my 2018 goals, and making new resolutions for 2019. This is going to be a ride indeed.
I’m sorry this is coming so late, I’m in Phuket at the time of writing this, but I should’ve been ahead anyway. The struggle of getting ahead is absolutely killing me.
Also, just to let you know: I had other goals in other categories for the year, which I’m not putting down here because I don’t feel very comfortable in sharing. The same goes for my 2019 resolutions: there are quite a few resolutions that I have omitted from this blog post for the same reason. Maybe one day I’ll feel comfortable sharing my full list of goals, but that day isn’t today.
